WHOLE LOG METAL DETECTOR – ROUND APERTURE

METAL SHARK® BIG RD is specifically designed for use in the timber industry and in sawmills.

The cylindrical tunnel, makes it ideally suited for the inspection of whole logs for metal objects such as shrapnel, bullets, fragments, nails, screws, bolts, etc. The detector is custom-built to match the conveyor profile and log diameter, with aperture sizes from 600mm to 2000mm ø (25” to 78”ø).

• Typical Fe: ø M6 at edge
• Typical Non-Fe: ø M8 at edge
• Stainless: ø Typically 20% larger than non-ferrous
