PANEL BOARD METAL DETECTOR – RECTANGULAR APERTURE

The METAL SHARK® BIG pba with its rectangular tunnel and its fairly low clearance is specifically designed for the monitoring fibre mats, MDF, OSB or chipboard as well as other panel materials.

It is typically installed with a flat-belt conveyor. The detector is custom-built to match the conveyor profile and board width, with aperture sizes from 75 to 500mm high x 1200 to 3300mm> wide (3” to 20” high x 47” to 130”> wide) . .

Sensitivity* from:

• Typical Fe: ø1mm (3/64”) at edges
• Typical Non-Fe: ø 1.5 mm (1/16”) at edges
• Stainless: o Typically 20% larger than non-ferrous
