GRAVITY FEED METAL DETECTOR

The METAL SHARK® GF (Gravity Feed) is used for pipelines with free-falling products to detect metal contaminants in continuously flowing granulates or powders such as pellets, fluff, animal meal etc.

The sensitive sensors detects even the smallest metal contaminants, and a reactive reject device removes contaminants directly from the product stream without interrupting production. Typical aperture sizes from 50mm to 510mm (2” to 20”) with flow rate of 20,000 Ibs/h to 185,000 lbs/h

• Fe ø 0.5mm (1/64”) sphere
• Non-Fe ø 00.7mm (1/32”) sphere
• Stainless ø Typically 20% larger than non-ferrous
